The need
The company never knew how much each job site really cost: how much it was spending on staff, how much on purchased materials. Margins were slipping away, and with them some invoices too.
Then there was the equipment problem: employees took beams, excavators and other machinery from the warehouse, but nobody knew which job site they were on or who had them. Vehicle inspections, insurance, deadlines and maintenance were tracked from memory.
The solution
We developed web-based management software, usable in the office and on the job site from a smartphone:
- Costs and margins per job site: staff, materials and purchases assigned to each job site, with a traffic light that warns you when costs rise.
- Employees and attendance, with clock-in via QR code.
- Equipment and vehicles tracked: who took them, which job site they are on and since when.
- Vehicle deadlines: inspections, insurance and maintenance with reminders.
- AI scanning: you photograph a document and the AI reads quantities, product names and suppliers and loads them into the warehouse.
- Materials warehouse, invoices, documents and photos linked to the job site.
- Approvals for purchases and requests.
Technologies
The result
For 2 years the company has been seeing the costs and margins of every job site while the work is under way, not when it is finished. Invoices no longer get lost, and for every piece of equipment and vehicle you know where it is, who is responsible for it and when the next inspection is due.
